Leilani Kai

This true pro wrestling veteran was born on January, 23, 1960 and her real name is Patty Seymour. Right after finishing school she began her wrestling career with training together with The Fabulous Moolah. In the 1980´s Kai defeated Wendi Richter and became female champion of the World Wrestling Federation, WWF. But Richter regained the title only a month later. 

Together with Judy Martin Leilani formed The Glamour Girls and they won the WWF tag team championships two times and the LPWA tag team championships one time. In her later career Leilani Kai defeated Lexie Fyfe in 2002 and won the PGWA championships but later the same year she lost the title to Pippa l´Vinn. The next year Leilani won the NWA women´s championships but in 2004 the NWA president Bill Behrens took the title from her because of Leilani´s no-showing up on several NWA wrestling events. After being less active as a wrestler Leilani have become a succesful trainer to, for example, Christie Ricci and Amber O´Neal.

Christie Ricci

Born as Christie Mathis in November, 11, 1982 this good-looking wrestler from Mississippi, USA made her debut in June, 2002 and began competing on the independent circuit. In 2004 a knee injury stopped her from wrestling for a while but the next year she won the NWA women´s championships and held the title until January 2007. In the middle of that year Ricci began competing for Women´s Extreme Wrestling, WEW where she lost her first two matches. 2009 Christie Ricci debuted for the organization Wrestlicious under the wrestling name Glory and in 2010 she defeated Felony and won the Wrestlicious championships.

Kristin Astara

This charismatic wrestler who also works as a model is born on January, 12, 1981 and her real name is Kristin Eubanks. In the wrestling rings she has called herself Chrissy Cialis, Krissy Vaine, Kristin Astara, Ladie Vaine and Special K.                                                                                         Kristin debuted as wrestling manager in September 2000 and 3 years later she began competing as a wrestler and took the name Krissy Vaine. In January, 2006 she signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE and their Deep South Wrestling until the DSW closing 2007.     Then Krissy moved to Florida Championship Wrestling where she lost to Nattie Neidhart in June, 2007. In October the same year Kristin left WWE and took a nearly 2 year vacation from wrestling. As an independent she won her first singles championship in September, 12, 2009 when she defeated Jayme Jameson to win the NWA Mid-Atlantic Women´s championship. Soon after this victory Krissy renamed herself Kristin Astara before losing the title to Jameson on April, 10, 2010. Kristin and Jayme wrestled for the title 3 times between May and November and Jameson won all the matches. In March, 2011 Kristin changed her ring name to Chrissy Cialis and in May she lost a Lucha Libre USA match to Nikki Corleone.

Bonnie Maxon

Another well known female wrestler who are born in 1981 is Bonnie Maxon with the famous ring name Rain. Bonnie made her debut for Shimmer Women Athletes in November, 2005 and lost a match to Ariel. Rain had more success in tag team matches, first with Lacey and then together with Jetta. Rain won her first big single title in 2011 on the Women Superstars Uncensored, WSU, Spirit championship by defeating Sassy Stephanie. But it was a very short time Rain held the title. Already the same night Bonnie accepted a title challenge from Jessicka Havok and lost the match.             In 2012 Rain debuted for the new women´s wrestling promotion Shine Wrestling with a victory over Nikki Roxx. In November Bonnie was injured and in February this year she officially announced her retirement from wrestling at the end of the year. But in the first Shine championship tournament in July 2013 Rain defeated LuFisto in the first round, Jessicka Havok in the semifinals and Mia Yim in the final and became the first Shine champion.
